A wide range of results from the SLRC will be relevant for implementing integrated pest management (IPM) approach for sea lice in the aquaculture industry. The SLRC commercial partners provide expertise and capacity to carry out advanced product development and commercialization (e.g. pharmaceuticals, vaccines, functional feeds and diagnostics) based on novel compounds proteins and biochemical pathways discovered through SLRC activities. The expertise in SLRC covers the  pipeline from the initial biological insight through to registration, manufacture and commercialization.
